ADHD
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition affecting ones ability to focus and complete tasks. This lack of focus may interfere with your ability to be productive at school and/or work.
Effective treatment for this condition will can help you manage the symptoms of ADHD. I treat mild to moderate ADHD with NON stimulants. I do not prescribe schedule II drugs stimulants (i.e. Adderrall Ritalin etc.)
Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder causing extreme mood swings which can disrupt your relationships, work and your finances.
If you have a bipolar disorder, an experienced and specialized provider may be needed to manage your mood symptoms.
Depression
Depression can cause you to feel increasingly unmotivated, irritable, and unable to enjoy everyday leisure activities. Clinical depression affects over 3 million people per year and is characterized by a persistently depressed mood or a loss of interest, causing a significant impairment in ones daily life.
There are commonly prescribed antidepressants with typically little to no side effects that may help you with your depression.
Sleep Disturbances
If you are having a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep, a lack of quality sleep can affect your level of energy and ability to function at optimum levels.
There are treatments available that can improve your sleep, so you can function effectively throughout the day.
Panic Disorder
If you have intense fear accompanied by palpitations and/or shortness of breath, this may be a panic disorder.
Based on my professional experience working with clients with panic disorders and my personal experience dealing with and managing my own anxiety, treating this condition can help you gain control of your fears and anxiety.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is usually described as general fear or constant worrying. This form of anxiety is very common and typically treatable.
Performance Anxiety
If you have severe anxiety prior to certain situations such as a speech, test or competing in an event, then you may be experiencing performance anxiety.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Alcohol (ETOH) Abstinence/Maintenance
If you are struggling with alcohol abstinence and maintenance after two weeks of sobriety, your continued alcohol dependency has a significant impact on your personal and professional life. In addition, there are severe longterm health consequences of longstanding alcohol use, and some are irreversable if they are not addressed.
Medication may be an effective option to treat your alcohol dependency. Acamprosate is a drug that has been shown to help curb alcohol cravings.
Smoke Cessation
We have all heard about the long term adverse affects of smoking on our health and the increased risk of cancer and other serious health problems. It’s never too late to quit smoking for good, and this is certainly achievable.
There are proven medication regiments that are specifically used to promote smoking cessation. Quitting smoking is an extremely important step to take to improve your health and enhance the quality of your life.
